Delete account

How to delete your chatbro account and the data collected so far. Removing the app alone does not delete your account.

Directly in the app or on the web

Sign in to the chatbro app (or chatbro.net).
In the bottom menu, open Settings.
Account section — tap Delete account.
Confirm as prompted and it takes effect immediately.

Request by email

Send "Account deletion request" from the email address you signed up with to assure053@gmail.com . After we verify your identity, we will process it within 7 business days and reply with the result.

What gets deleted

Account information (email, nickname, password)
Avatars you created and their source photos
Conversation history and preferences

What remains

Payment and refund records: 5 years (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
Records of consumer complaints and dispute handling: 3 years (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
Access logs: 3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
Data processed into statistics that cannot identify an individual

The items above are kept for the period required by law and then destroyed. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

If you have an active subscription

Closing your account also ends any remaining subscription period. If you need a refund, please contact us before deleting your account.
